Menken Becomes Second Orthodox Rabbi on Prestigious List, Joining Rabbi Daniel Lapin
(Baltimore, MD) — Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), representing over 2,500 traditional, Orthodox rabbis in American public policy, proudly announces Rabbi Yaakov Menken has been added to the Young America’s Foundation (YAF) Speakers Bureau. Rabbi Menken becomes only the second Orthodox Jewish rabbi to join the distinguished roster, alongside the highly respected Rabbi Daniel Lapin.
Beginning in 2026, Rabbi Menken will travel to college campuses across the country, speaking with students on a wide range of issues, including Jewish values, faith in public life, antisemitism, free speech, Israel, and the foundations of Western civilization. His presence will bring a powerful, authentic Jewish voice to campuses that are too often dominated by hostility toward faith, tradition, and the Jewish people.
“This is a major moment for Jewish representation on America’s campuses,” said Rabbi Yoel Schoenfeld, President, Coalition for Jewish Values. “At a time when antisemitism is surging and Judeo-Christian values are under attack, Rabbi Menken’s voice will provide clarity, courage, and moral grounding for students seeking truth.”
CJV extends its sincere thanks to Young America’s Foundation and to its President, Governor Scott Walker, for their leadership and vision in bringing Rabbi Menken into the fold. YAF has been at the forefront of defending free expression and conservative principles on campus, and this decision reflects a deep commitment to ensuring that Jewish and faith-based perspectives are not sidelined in today’s academic environment.
“Governor Walker and the team at YAF understand that the battle for America’s future is being waged on college campuses,” said Bryan E. Leib, CJV Spokesperson. “By elevating Rabbi Menken, they are strengthening the moral and intellectual defenses of students nationwide and reaffirming the central role of Judeo-Christian values in American life.”
